DirectPath’s CEO, Bart Yancey, frequently says the company’s office design is all about collaboration. But employees also say it’s about having a great work “home.”
It undertook its renovation with a realization that employees are spending eight to 10 hours a day at the office, and they need the best possible environment in which to work, which means collaborative spaces, small break-out areas and even fun spaces with pool tables and stocked kitchens for decompressing time.
“Employee feedback is always positive. At DirectPath we work hard and we play hard. Our office space reflects that philosophy. If there’s been a stressful conference call in the ‘den,’ we can spend five minutes playing Jenga in the ‘pub’ to decompress before getting back to work,” Stacey Solomon, senior recruiter.
