Michael Byers

Michael is the  Chairman and CEO of DirectPath.

He was the CEO and President at HighRoads and was responsible for the Enrollment Advisors acquisition of HighRoads’ employer technology division in 2015 creating the combined company, DirectPath. For more than 10 years, he was the driving force behind HighRoads’ strategic initiatives, operations and culture, which led the transformation from a traditional software company to a pure SaaS organization and dramatically increased the number of enterprise clients from a handful to almost 20 percent of the Fortune 500.

Prior to HighRoads, Michael served as CEO of Centive, a founding company in the Enterprise Incentive Management (EIM) market. He also served as CFO and Vice President of Finance for NuMega Technologies Inc., where he negotiated the sale of the company to Compuware (NASDAQ; CPWR) for $150 million. Michael has also held senior finance positions in the software industry including SQA Inc., and Object Design Inc.

Michael is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Cum Laude with a B.A. in Accounting and a minor in Economics. He is also a CPA in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Bart Yancey

Bart Yancey is the co-founder of DirectPath and the President of Engagement. Since 2004, he has led its growth into one of the top strategic employee engagement, health care transparency and compliance companies for Fortune 1000 employers.

An industry leader in employee education and benefits communication, Bart was appointed to serve on the Alabama Health Insurance Exchange Study Commission by Governor Robert Bentley. He is an active member of the Monday Morning Quarterback Club charity and the Southern 7 Chapter of Young Presidents’ Organization. Bart is a graduate of Samford University.

Lori Dustin

Lori shapes the strategic marketing and product development direction of DirectPath. With more than 20 years of B2B experience, she draws on proven leadership to drive rapid company growth in emerging markets and ensures DirectPath solutions continue to significantly improve employee engagement and health care compliance for large organizations across all industries.

Prior to joining DirectPath, Lori held a variety of senior marketing leadership roles encompassing product strategy, branding and positioning, marketing communications, demand generation, business development, digital marketing and partner marketing.

Lori is an inventor for the HighRoads patent “Methods and systems for comparing employee insurance plans among peer groups” and “Management platform for displaying benefit plan data to permitted entities.” She holds a Bachelor of Science in marketing management from Bentley College and has completed the American Electronics Association Executive Program from Stanford University.

Brian Stana

Brian is responsible for the leadership and strategic direction in all aspects of finance, accounting and risk management operations at DirectPath. He brings 20+ years of experience in the financial services industry and success in driving profit improvement, leading business growth, and establishing and scaling operations.

Previously, Brian was Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Risk Officer at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, where he was responsible for investment management; operating and capital budgeting; corporate strategy and development; corporate planning and forecasting and enterprise risk management. Prior to BCBSTN, Brian was a partner in the insurance practice of Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP and he began his career with Ernst & Young LLP.

Brian is a graduate of The Florida State University with a B.S. in Finance and The University of West Florida with a B.A. in Accounting. He is also a CPA in the State of Alabama and member of the AICPA.

Bridget Lipezker

Bridget Lipezker is the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Advocacy and Transparency. She joined DirectPath in January 2017 and is responsible for developing and executing the acquisition strategy of the advocacy and transparency business unit at DirectPath to ensure smooth transition.

Bridget has a demonstrable track record of delivering customer satisfaction through consistent on-time implementations that produce measurable operational results. Prior to DirectPath, she led the HighRoads professional services team to develop and improve implementation methodology to ensure optimal product adoption.

Before joining HighRoads, Bridget was a senior manager in the Deloitte Consulting Human Capital service area where she provided strategic solutions to global and national clients facing transformational change and complex business opportunities related to globalization, intense regulatory environments, and health care reform.

Bridget holds a Master of Science in Business Administration at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration at Indiana University Bloomington.

Denise Kappler

Denise is the Senior Vice President of Client Services at DirectPath. She has been with DirectPath since 2004 is responsible for leadership of the Communications and Compliance team.

Denise has more than 20 years of experience in employee benefits technology and consulting at DirectPath, HighRoads, Towers Perrin, and Kaiser Permanente. At DirectPath, Denise works with clients and project teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery of DirectPath solutions, and the development of new solutions to meet customer needs.

Denise holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and International Studies from American University and a Master’s Degree in International Studies from George Washington University.

Gil Murdock

Gil is the Senior Vice President of National Accounts. His focus is on driving sales and building partnerships at the national level. Gil brings 20 years of experience in the insurance and financial markets.

Prior to DirectPath, Gil held senior level positions focused on emerging markets and operational growth. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Adam Robinett

After fifteen years at Alabama Power, Adam joined the executive team in 2015 to help maximize the business values that DirectPath drives for its customers. He leads Engagement Services and is responsible for its business operations and commitment to quality for the day-to-day activities of 100+ employees working in locations across the country.

Adam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Auburn University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Mercer University.

Heather Gadon

Heather creates and implements DirectPath’s people strategy.  She works closely with the business as a partner, to ensure best-in-class HR practices and solutions.

As DirectPath evolves, her role bears responsibility for talent acquisition, process improvement, employee development and leading the organization through exciting and rapid change.

For the past 20 years Heather has worked within HR leadership positions spanning across start-up organizations to multinational organizations that experienced fast growth, diversity and creative HR practices. Her vast industry experience includes health care, technology, professional services, and consumer products.

Heather holds a Master of Science degree in Human Resources from Suffolk University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Salem State University.

Eric Frost

Eric is the Vice President of Sales. In the past two years, he has accelerated DirectPath’s performance and profitability achievements.

Eric has more than 25 years of enterprise sales experience in the BPO, Finance and Health & Welfare spaces and employs a consultative and solutions-based approach.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing & Sales Management from Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo.
