DirectPath Partners with FutureSense
DirectPath, the industry leader in employee engagement, health care transparency and compliance, today announced a strategic partnership with FutureSense, an Innovation Institute portfolio company committed to helping clients improve their organizational performance through innovative solutions and people strategies. Under the terms of the partnership, FutureSense will bundle the DirectPath service and offer it to its clients – including both Innovation Institute member and non-member companies – to help them save on health care expenses through its strategic employee engagement, transparency and advocacy services.
Today’s health care benefits landscape is extremely complex. Employees, unsure how to research the plans, procedures and prescriptions that deliver the right care at a reasonable cost, often select options that drive up health care expenses for themselves and for their employers. To control these costs, and offer employees the guidance they crave when it comes to making health care decisions (a recent MetLife study found that 58 percent of employees want customized benefit options), employers must invest in services that offer employees the insights and tools necessary for sound health care decision-making.
DirectPath’s employee benefits engagement, transparency and advocacy services have proven highly effective at reducing health care costs and increasing employee utilization of employers’ health care investments. Through the partnership, businesses around the country will be able to experience the health care savings opportunities DirectPath affords. They’ll also experience added perks of benefits engagement, such as improved employee satisfaction and loyalty – which further drives overall business performance.
“Our company was founded to help organizations and their employees better navigate the complex health care landscape and control health care expenses,” said Bart Yancey, CEO, DirectPath. “Teaming up with FutureSense, which shares our vision for improved organizational performance made possible through increased employee engagement and reduced benefits administration costs, was a no brainer. We’re excited to bring our capabilities to FutureSense’s extensive network and accelerate the adoption of health care benefits best practices.”
Kevin Simes, vice president of FutureSense, added, “I’m always speaking with companies and HR teams about their organizational challenges. A question I’m often asked is how to maximize employee benefits investments while containing benefits costs. Having known the folks at DirectPath for many years, I’m a huge advocate of their approach to solving this dual challenge. DirectPath enables businesses to achieve significant health care savings while ensuring employee satisfaction. I’m very excited to introduce the FutureSense network to this service.”
